I've located my sketch pad and am redrawing these (and Bob) in it. I will need to draw them on my paint boards as well. Going to get a lot of practice. No more scrap paper, unless, of course, it happens. For now, this is as far as I'm going with these sketches.
Good practice! Definitely use good paper--you want to save these. When you get to doing them on paint boards, will you be drawing them with a paintbrush or a pencil?
ReplyDeleteOh, I think I need to draw in pencil. As difficult as it is to get them right, the eraser almost becomes a necessity.
ReplyDeleteBoth of the pictures I have of Beth (scrap and book) are very close, only slightly off (from each other and the photo). Problem is, I don't know which of them is better. Cindy says first one. Maybe I won't worry about it too much. Maybe it's like eyeballing a 2 x 10 to determine the crown--if you have to look at it twice, it's straight enough.
