We had a good time camping this weekend.. We went with Randy and Julie (Gary's brother and sister in law). We got there on Thursday night. We went to a campground near Wellsboro. So then Friday, Gary and I walked down and back up the canyon...UGHH---we are definately OLD and out of shape!!! But it was still nice and we enjoyed it alot. Then Randy and Julie came on Friday evening. It rained a lot on Saturday. We were going to ride our bikes on the old railroad trails at the bottem of the canyon but since it rained we didn't. We just sat around talking, reading and the guys played ladder ball.. But we still enjoyed ourselves and relaxed.
Gary hurt his leg yesterday at work. Stepped down off a truck and heard something snap. Had it xrayed and they said he just tore the fibers in his leg, not his ligament. He was supposed to ice it and take ibeprophen (sp) for it but he only "iced" it for a little bit. But said it's better this am.
Well better go to work. see ya.

ReplyDeleteDo you remember the time we hiked down and up the canyon? We were a lot younger then, but it was still quite a stretch.
ReplyDeleteYep, and no turkey path for us! And I remember being scared of rattle snakes but too proud to admit it!
