This is a picture of Eric "Egor" Hotchkiss which was printed on the pamphlet at the memorial service last Friday. Sandra, Matthew, Amy, and her daughter Courtney were there. Some Mennonites from their church came along with them. Numerous local friends and most of the local family were also present. Had a good turnout and a good time.
Some of us went to Phil and Deb's place afterwards and spent the rest of the afternoon "socializing." I got back home about 9:30 that night.
I must have missed this...why did he die? He isn't that old...I haven't seen him in years and years... But looks like the rest of the Mitchell's with the wooly beard and such....

ReplyDeleteI don't have a clue as to the last time anyone saw his face, although there were some pictures at the funeral of him clean-shaven when he was young--like high school. Couldn't grow a beard then, it would have gotten him expelled. Or maybe Sandra wouldn't let him. Quien sabe? Bob might understand a beard like that. Mine would never get there even if I let it go forever.
