I think the grapefruit is exceptionally well done--not surprised your instructor is showing it as an example of what is possible. I love the posterized grapes against the realistic background. The composition of the pomegranate in relation to the sides of the picture I think could be a little better but I don't know if you had to crop it to upload here so that isn't a really valid critique. I wish I could do computerized graphics but I get totally frustrated with them!!!!!! Glad to hear that you've gone back to school.
